Finance Director

 Novitana Limited is fast growing iGaming affiliate company based in Malta. To continue our journey and find new business opportunities, we are now looking for a Finance Director to strengthen our organization.

You will be based in our modern offices in St Julian’s. The Company offers a competitive salary package together with other benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general accounting functions and activities including but not limited to the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Responsible for month-end accounting procedures and reconciliations.
  • Liaising with external auditors.
  • Budget preparation.
  • Prepare reports for directors and shareholders.
  • Company administrative tasks for Novitana and its related holding companies.
  • Assist the managing director in new investment discussions (and liaise with external consultants where needed).
  • Assist the managing director in the day to day tasks.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s accounting records and financial systems and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the finance & administrative function.

Skills & Experience

  • Fluent in English.
  • Possess an ACCA qualification or a tertiary degree in a similar field.
  • Proficient user in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience in the use of Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be considered favourably.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience in a similar position.
  • Self-motivated, passionate, reliable, flexible, resilient and takes initiative.
  • Good communicator with strong inter-personal skills.
  • Good organisational skills and a great multi-tasker.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment and under pressure.
  • Be diligent and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Be able to prioritise and manage work without losing attention to detail.
  • You are proactive and alert to changes foreseeing any necessary adaptions.
  • You are eager to learn and to deliver on expectations.
